Our family friendly, non-competitive studio has an adult, talented and professional faculty and staff dedicated to their students and the PDC philosophy. At the PDC, we believe the art of dance is for every student. We strive to make our dancers, young and old, beginner to advanced, feel special and important.

Annual Awards Party - a night of dining, dancing, and fun honoring students who have attended 3 or more years.
Annual Production Second to none - definitely not your ordinary dance recital. A spectacular performance, showcasing our students, the “stars” of this production - complete with professional staging, sets and scenery, lighting, music, costumes and professional program/yearbook. Our productions are carefully planned and produced and we make sure that our students are well-prepared and feel confident about their performance.
All PDC students from our Dancing Tot Class to our Adult Level are invited to participate in our Annual Production and since dance is a performing art, we encourage each student to take advantage of this opportunity. Perna Dance Center students were "born to perform".
Office Staff and Desk Personnel The PDC has informed and approachable office personnel available to you during studio hours. The studio keeps the lines of communication open through e-mail, notices sent home, our class mother system, and now check the “What’s New” page on our website. We do our best to keep you informed and up-do-date on all happenings at the PDC.
Perna Dance Center Procedures and Policies
Severe Weather or Emergency Closings - Call the studio one hour before your class time for a recorded message regarding studio closings. If the studio is open, but you are uncomfortable with driving, you will be excused from class and no absence will be recorded.
Class Progress and Attendance - It is important to attend every class in order to benefit from consistent training. Promptness is also important. It is disrupting to a class when a student comes in after the lesson is in progress or needs to leave early. If a student is absent from class, they are responsible material taught in the missed class. Coming to class early to consult a friend, or calling the studio in advance are some ways this can be achieved. New steps cannot be taught again and again, since this would not be fair to all faithful attendees.
Absences - Per the Perna Dance Center Regulations, as of January 1st, students who have more than 4 absences in a subject will not be eligible to perform that routine in the annual production. Of course, if a student is sick, we do not expect them to attend class. That is why we have a lenient policy allowing 4 absences per subject, before this regulation goes into effect. It is a priviledge to perform in the annual production and your classmates are counting on you and your professional commitment. No costume refunds will be issued.
Make-Up Classes - No make-up classes after March 13th, due to recital rouroutines being underway. After March 13th, missed classes are lost classes.
